I have a secret to share…
Shh…… Yes I have been anxiously awaiting this day for six months, but it has finely arrived !!
My first pattern Sunrise Joy is PUBLISHED !!! WOW !! Can you tell I’m just a tad excited? Homespun – A leading Quilting/ Craft magazine published my quilt pattern – wow – ok I’m a little over excited !!
It certainly was hard to contain a secret like this for six months !! Sunrise Joy is a 70×50 (180x130cm) pieced quilt that I designed and created last year ! It is such a happy and bright quilt – it still makes me smile when I see it :-).
Sunrise Joy is made from Kona Cotton solids……… Half Square Triangles and Flying geese units !! I can’t tell you more as you need the pattern 😉 from Homespun – 2016 February edition.
The backing fabric to this quilt is a perfect match and was a wideback (how lucky was I ????!) – A Gutermann fabric Ring-a-roses Long Island – Bird Pink .
Thank you for indulging me as my excitement settles. Please let me know if you create a quilt from my pattern I would love to hear from you and share in your proud moment !
Happy quilting and smiling 🙂
